Miles has led workshops and seminars for the National Network to End Domestic Violence, the Connecticut Technical Educators Association, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, the Greater Valley (CT) Chamber of Commerce, and others. He has been a panelist at numerous events, including: the ITVFest, the CT Film Festival, the 48Hr Film Project, the UFVA Conference, and the All American High School Film Festival.

He has contributed to sites such as Film Threat, Moviemaker, Adorama.com and Techsmith.com, and sponsored the 48Hour Film Project in New Haven, CT for many years. Miles continues to consult and produce  for independent clients, schools, musicians, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and houses of worship.
